Each Polyester resin supplied by FibreGlassDirect has its own unique set of properties and therefore careful consideration should be given when choosing the resin for your composites project.

Epoxy Resins

Epoxy resin is often required for composite projects that require an extra durable finish and also resistance to heat, chemicals and wear and tear are required.

Reinforcements

Reinforcements form the backbone to composite structures. Used in conjunction with resin, the resin is applied to the reinforcement and once cured, the reinforcement becomes completely rigid.

• Chopped strand mat – Available in 300g, 450g, 600g and 900g weights
