FibreGlassDirect offer two types of roofing kits – Premium and Low-Cost. Both kit options are available up to 100sqm with tools and non-tools variations included.
Our premium roofing kits were originally introduced to satisfy a demand for an all-encompassing kit which could offer roofers a quick and easy way to get everything needed to complete a fibreglass flat roof build or repair.
These kits include a flexible polyester roofing resin which is known for its outstanding properties in relation to aiding a fibreglass roof in terms of its natural settling and aligning. We also provide a Fre Retardant Roofing Topcoat as standard within our Premium Roofing Kits. This topcoat should be applied at 0.8kg per square metre – this is to achieve better fire resistance.
Low-Cost roofing kits have also been designed for Fibreglass roofing applications. A ‘contactors’ standard, roofing topcoat is provided with this kit in ether a light or dark grey finish. This roofing topcoat is non-fire retardant. Lloyds Approved Resin is also included in this kit which is a fantastic multipurpose polyester resin. It has been approved under the Lloyds Approval scheme.
The FibreGlassDirect Low-Cost roofing kit is recommended for non-domestic buildings such as outhouses where no hazardous materials are stored and are not connected to a domestic property.
To complete any fibreglass roof GRP Roofing Trims are often a necessary way to finish the roof to a high standard. We provide upstands, edging and detailing pieces in a variety of lengths – 1.5 metre, 3 metre and corner pieces.
